The Rawhide Kid's caught in the quicksand!" — a wonderfully tense setup that promises exactly the kind of desperate, against-the-odds action that made 1956 Western comics so compelling. Packed with all brand-new tales and teasing a "Six-Gun Lesson" inside, this Atlas-era issue is a fine showcase for both Maneely's dynamic cover work and the Kid's reputation for sharing his saddle with danger.
