This understated, quietly affecting cover from Marcelo Costa says more through body language than most action-packed images ever could — a costumed Radiant Black and a civilian companion walk side by side, the ordinary man's arm draped around the hero's shoulder in a gesture of easy, genuine solidarity. It's a refreshing change of pace for a superhero series, suggesting that the heart of "Life and Times" beats somewhere in the personal connections behind the mask.
