Punisher vs. Bullseye #3
Three issues into this five-part Marvel Knights limited series, the tension between Frank Castle and Bullseye is wound tight — and the cover by Leinil Francis Yu (inked by Dave McCaig) captures that perfectly. Against a deep red background, the skull-chested Punisher looms with dual pistols raised while a grim-faced Bullseye crouches in the foreground, blades in hand and that telltale bullseye on his brow. With Daniel Way scripting and Steve Dillon on interiors, "Massacre on 34th Street" promises exactly the kind of brutal, no-nonsense confrontation these two characters demand of each other.
