Punisher #49
Garth Ennis and Lan Medina bring the "Widowmaker" arc to a close in this 2007 Marvel MAX entry, and Tim Bradstreet's cover sets the tone perfectly — a determined woman in a Punisher skull shirt holds a shotgun at her shoulder, her gaze steely and unflinching, while blood-spattered photographs of other women are arranged behind her like a grim collage. It's a striking image that speaks to vengeance, solidarity, and the particular brand of grim consequence that defines this MAX imprint series.
