“Kill Matsu'o Chapter Three”

In "Kill Matsu'o Chapter Three," Psylocke faces off against Jinn in a brutal showdown over who gets to end Matsuo’s life. With the stakes higher than ever, Psylocke emerges victorious—only to confront a broken, pleading Matsuo, whose suffering is far from over. Wolverine arrives, revealing he’s been prolonging Matsuo’s torment for years, and refuses to let Psylocke deliver the final blow. Written by Chris Yost and illustrated by Harvey Tolibao, with inks by Paul Neary and Sandu Florea, colors by Jay David Ramos, and letters by Virtual Calligraphy and Joe Sabino, the issue’s cover by David Finch captures the intensity of the moment.

Psylocke and Jinn battle to see which of them will have the privilege of killing Matsuo. Psylocke defeats her foe and confronts Matsuo, only to find he is horribly disfigured and begging for death. Wolverine, the cause of Matsuo's present condition, arrives and tells Psylocke that he will not allow her to kill the villain as Matsuo is not done suffering yet (Logan has been carving off a piece of Matsuo on an annual basis every since the death of Mariko Yashida which Matsuo was responsible for).
