This 1975 Winter Special anthology issue features multiple horror stories, including "The Truth About How Dracula Became a Vampire," which takes place within Castle Dracula's dungeons and explores the origin of the vampire curse. Another major story is "Monster, Monster," a continuing saga in which a character undergoes a painful supernatural transformation while obsessing over England and a woman with an amulet, ultimately dying as the pain subsides and leaving only hate behind; the narrative promises vengeance for this death in the next chapter titled "The Arms of Death Are Ever Open!" A third featured story involves warriors searching for a lost temple tomb containing a golden dagger and treasure, only to find the cave sealed and their diving expeditions fruitless, though they remain hopeful about discovering the tomb. The issue also includes "...If I Should Die Before I Wake," written by Victor Buckley and illustrated by Andy Crandon, depicting a vampire reflecting on his cursed existence and the isolation of his graveyard haunt.
