This is an anthology issue featuring three horror stories. "The Curse of the Snake Goddess" follows Miss Prentice and Mr. Foster unpacking treasures from the Wentworth Expedition, discovering a mysterious tablet within a mummy case that scientists plan to study overnight, with sinister implications hinted at. "The Werewolf/Vampire Wolf" is a 19th-century tale depicting folklore and supernatural creatures substantiated by the gruesome art of Able Wurtz, told through chalk drawings on a kitchen table. "The Bierce Story" concludes with scientist Mr. Bierce mysteriously restored to life on his 300th birthday as a gift from his wife Cecile, after macabre arts have apparently taken hold.
