This anthology issue presents two distinct horror stories. The first story features a creature made of slime that hunts victims in city alleyways, attacking a man who experiences burning pain and fear for the first time in its life. The second story, "A Man Who Dare Not Sleep," written by Ed Fedory and illustrated by Dela Rosa, follows a sailor aboard a ship in the South Pacific who struggles to stay awake after witnessing mysterious wounds and references to "the seal of the vampire," and encounters a supernatural being before meeting a tragic end. A third story involves a wizard's death and a sorceress named Cassandra who discovers she is the sole survivor of Atlantis and learns that the man who sank the legendary city sought her out because of his connection to her.
