In Prophet #5 (1994), Rob Liefeld’s gripping story unleashes a terrifying twist when Omen’s virtual simulator spirals out of control, awakening a berserker fury within Prophet during a battle against historical enemies like Nazis and the Viet Cong. As the line between simulation and reality shatters, Prophet’s violent rampage spills into the real world, forcing Kirby and the Disciples to intervene. Stephen Platt’s dynamic art and Byron Talman’s vivid colors bring the chaos to life, while Kurt Hathaway’s lettering sharpens the tension—this is a pivotal issue where control fractures, and the consequences are immediate and brutal.
