Prometheus: Life and Death #2
Part two of Dan Abnett's four-issue Prometheus: Life and Death series drops readers onto a world the cover tagline aptly calls "a world of fire and stone" — a haunting, mist-shrouded landscape where a lone, pale humanoid figure strides forward through swirling green vapors, biomechanical forms looming in the darkness behind him. David Palumbo's painted cover has a moody, almost impressionistic quality that makes the alien atmosphere feel genuinely unsettling. With Andrea Mutti on interior art and Rain Beredo's colors, this 2016 Dark Horse series continues to deliver science-fiction dread at its most atmospheric.
