A roaring primate fills the cover of this third chapter in Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino's Cold War science-fiction series, its face framed within what appears to be a space helmet as tangled wires or cables spider out above it against a stark blue sky. Sorrentino's cover art — rendered in bold black and white with Dave Stewart's cool blue palette — is raw and unsettling, conveying something trapped, something furious. It's a striking visual promise from one of 2021's most atmospheric Image series.
