Pretty Violent #9

Pretty Violent keeps delivering its signature blend of cartoon chaos and adult mayhem with issue #9 from Image Comics. The cover — by Derek Hunter, Jason Young, and Spencer Holt — shows our pink-haired heroine crouched in a fighting stance over a bloodied, visored figure, a spiraling target backdrop splattered with crimson evidence of the carnage she's already unleashed. It's gleefully over-the-top in that way only this series pulls off, promising all the ultraviolence and "lots of swears" the title so cheerfully advertises.
