Pretty Violent #10 from Image Comics finds our pink-haired heroine and her cheerful blonde companion completely surrounded and engulfed by a mass of enormous, menacing creatures — their gnarled forms and glowering eyes pressing in from every direction. Despite the overwhelmingly dire situation, that grinning confidence on the blonde's face suggests neither of them is particularly worried. Derek Hunter, Jason Young, and Spencer Holt keep delivering this gleefully unhinged series with charm to spare, and this 2020 issue promises plenty of the swears the subtitle so helpfully advertises.
