In "Ed the Happy Clown (kapitel 3)," a broken and disfigured Ed lies helpless on the sidewalk after years in prison, his body marked by a disease that left him vulnerable and forgotten. When Cirel finds him, the encounter turns violent, and Ed is dragged into a new nightmare—forced to follow Josie into the dark, pulsing tunnels of the sewer, where he encounters a race of short, strange humanoid creatures.
