Pox

From 1984 to 1993, Epix published Pox, a 87-issue comic series that blended surreal humor with dystopian satire, most frequently scripted and drawn by Rick Geary alongside contributions from Léo Malet, Goran Delic, Jamie Hewlett, and Max. Its off-kilter, often wordless storytelling and grotesque, whimsical art carved a distinctive niche in alternative comics, anticipating the transatlantic underground aesthetic of the late '80s. Pox remains a cult touchstone for fans of European-influenced, experimental sequential art.
