Powers #4
Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming's Powers returns with this 2015 Marvel collection subtitled "Supergroup," and the cover sets an immediately grounded, street-level tone — two figures, a man and a woman, speeding through a nighttime cityscape in a red car, tension written plainly across their faces. Oeming's linework keeps things sharp and kinetic, the glowing urban skyline pressing in around them as if the city itself is part of the chase. It's a confident, noir-inflected package that captures exactly what makes Powers stand apart from the cape-and-cowl crowd.
