“Revenge of the Bogeyman Part III: What Price Victory?”

In "Revenge of the Bogeyman Part III: What Price Victory?", the Power Pack and the New Mutants work together to restore order in New York after the lingering chaos of Inferno. Back home, the family's unity begins to fracture when the parents, reeling from the truth that their children have been heroes all along, spiral into paranoia—convinced their kids have been replaced. Written by Julianna Jones and illustrated by Jon Bogdanove and June Brigman, with inks by Russ Heath and Hilary Barta, colors by Glynis Oliver, and letters by Joe Rosen, this 1989 issue features a cover by Bogdanove and Barta.

Power Pack and the New Mutants help clean up New York as the last vestiges of Inferno continue to linger. The kids return home to find that the family unity shown during their battle with Bogeyman has devolved into their parents going rapidly crazy with the knowledge that their kids have been super heroes for years without their knowledge. Dani and Gosamyr use their powers to make Jim and Margaret believe that their children were replaced by powered duplicates and the Power kids are able to return to their normal lives.
