Power of the Atom #5

This December 1988 issue of Power of the Atom delivers a wonderfully comedic cover — the Atom travels through a telephone line in a series of shrinking stages while a wide-eyed, slack-jawed Elongated Man (Ralph Dibny himself) reacts with a stunned "Homina homina homina." Rounding out the fun, Maxwell Lord makes a cameo appearance in the corner, smooth-talking his way in straight from the pages of Justice League. With cover art by Dwayne Turner and Keith Wilson, it's a lively, good-natured issue that pairs Ray Palmer's size-changing ingenuity with some of DC's most entertaining personalities.
