Planetary #3 arrives in June 1999 with Warren Ellis, John Cassaday, and Laura DePuy delivering a sharp-looking WildStorm thriller. Cassaday's cover captures a kinetic midair brawl between two figures crashing through glass above a city street, with bursts of orange energy and debris flying in every direction against a backdrop of neon-lit urban signage. "Dead Gunfighters" promises the kind of pulpy, high-stakes atmosphere this series does so well, and this issue is a fine place to feel it.
