Though stranded and in danger, their futuristic gear keeps them alive, even as they confront the isolation and perils of deep space.

On Jupiter, Captain Nelson Cole faces a sudden Martian invasion after the peace of the Earth colony is shattered. With only a newly developed blackout gas to hide the planet, Cole uses the cover of darkness to outwit the enemy fleet, leading to a dramatic confrontation that leaves the Martians baffled and on the run.

Don Granval, a young scientist studying Neptune’s marine life, is summoned to King Sardo’s palace and imprisoned after the Neptunians suspect him of poisoning their waters. Escaping, he uncovers a hidden laboratory run by Villo, a deposed Earth dictator who has been secretly poisoning the Neptunians, and confronts him before exposing his scheme to Villo’s loyal followers.
