Pinky and the Brain #21
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBrain's latest scheme takes a decidedly political turn in this 1998 DC issue, subtitled The President's Brain, where our favorite lab mice find themselves contemplating a mind full of labeled compartments — "Cars," "Babes," "Hidden Agenda," "Erase the Tapes," and more — displayed on a monitor behind them. On the cover, penciled by Walter Carzon and inked by Rubén Torreiro, Brain poses his trademark question ("Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?") while Pinky cheerfully wonders aloud whether the President left any room for baby-kissing. It's a wonderfully absurdist setup that captures exactly the mix of gentle political satire and goofy charm that made this series such a delight.
