“Faster”

In "Faster," KWK and Kohl meet Emily in London, a sharp-witted figure with ties to the hidden world who offers guidance without guarantees. Her dinner with them sets them on a path to Indie Dave, a reclusive magician whose magic pulses to a different beat—music that’s not Britpop, but something older and stranger. With a ritual that pulls at the past, Kohl begins a search for answers that may not be what he expected. Written by Kieron Gillen and illustrated with bold, kinetic energy by Jamie McKelvie, the cover by McKelvie captures the moment just before the spell is cast.

In London, KWK and Kohl have dinner with Emily, a powerful woman who has knowledge and associations that can help Kohl out. She has a soft spot for Kohl but doesn't give him all the answers. She guides him but doesn't protect him. That dinner leads them to Indie Dave, a reclusive magician who draws power from different music than Kohl's Britpop. He provides a ritual for Kohl, a ritual to find answers in the past.
