This anthology issue contains three stories. "Cicero and Timmy" depicts the two characters hungry and searching for food when Timmy's meal mysteriously disappears. "Bah-Boo and His Star" tells of a Chinese boy whose father, facing drought and starvation, sends him to seek his fortune; Bah-Boo encounters a hunter named John Francis who employs him in a mine, and ultimately marries him to one of three sisters he rescues. The third story features Peter and a female character exploring a deserted, rain-soaked house where Peter sees a frightening face in a window, leading to comedic exchanges about whether the apparition was real.
