In "Edam and Weep or the Gouda, the Bad, and the Ugly," Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham, swaps web-slinging for cheese-slicing when Jonah takes him and the interns to the Hockawottamie Cheese Queen Beauty Pageant. There, amid dairy drama and a suspicious barn, Spider-Ham teams up with local odd couple Sonny Quacker and Ricardo Slug to unmask The Kingpig and save the event—only to return home and receive a mysterious new black costume from The Bee-Yonder. Written by Steve Mellor and illustrated by Joe Albelo, with inks by Pierre Fournier, colors by Julianna Ferriter, and letters by Kurt Hathaway, this 1986 adventure features cover art by Joe Albelo and John Romita.
