“All Aboard!”

A sly fox thinks he's sneaking a free snack from Peter Porkchops' kitchen — but "America's Favorite Pig" is already home, holding a very annoyed pink lobster that has other plans for that thieving paw. Otto Feuer's cheerful cover sets up the comedy perfectly, stacking the countertop with cookies, apple jam, and table soup to make the stakes (and the snacks) wonderfully clear. This 1955 DC charmer, with interior work by the multi-talented Sheldon Mayer, is a delightful slice of mid-decade funny-animal fun.
