Real Screen Comics #93
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis December 1955 DC offering features the beloved Fox and the Crow in a perfectly timed bit of slapstick — the Crow winds up with a frying pan mid-swing while a startled Fox yelps "Ouch! Crow, are you SURE this is the best way to cure my hiccups?" The bright yellow cover and that resounding "SPATT!" sound effect capture exactly the cheerful, comedic spirit that made this series such a delight for young readers of the era. At just ten cents, it's a charming snapshot of mid-1950s funny-animal comics at their most playful.
