“Not Quite”

From the Archie Series comes Pep #334 (February 1978), where Veronica Lodge proves that family pride runs deep — the cover, penciled by Dan DeCarlo and inked by Rudy Lapick, shows Archie gesturing at a family tree chart and teasing Ronnie that her roots go back to Noah's Ark, only to receive her perfectly haughty retort: "Certainly not! We Lodges had our own boat!" Betty and an amused older gentleman (presumably Mr. Lodge) round out the scene, making it a wonderfully warm snapshot of Riverdale's favorite social dynamics. At just 35 cents, this is a charming slice of late-'70s Archie humor with a genealogy twist.
