Archie and Me #133
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1982 entry in the long-running Archie and Me series delivers pure Riverdale comedy right on its cover, penciled by Stan Goldberg. The two-panel scene shows a red-jacketed Mr. Weatherbee behind his desk, utterly incredulous at what Archie — in his signature "R" letterman jacket — has just told him about being late, then doubling down by asking Archie to repeat the excuse so he can tape it for his friends. The cover tagline promises the story "Double Trouble" inside, plus more Archie-vs.-authority hijinks in "Patience & Fortitude" — a fine sixty-cent package of the cheerful chaos that made this series a staple of early-'80s spinner racks.
