Pep #188
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA perfectly timed slice of early-1960s teen comedy, this December 1965 issue of Pep captures Veronica mid-confession — her speech bubble declaring she "accidentally wore mismatched socks to school and started the biggest fad in town!" Sure enough, a parade of Riverdale girls behind her are all sporting wildly mismatched socks of their own, while a bemused Archie looks on and a bespectacled girl at right clutches her books with knowing style. Harry Lucey's pencils and Marty Epp's inks give the whole scene that warm, expressive charm that made Archie comics such a delight, and the yellow backdrop practically pops with cheerful energy.
