The rubberized Jersey Bounce robs Riverdale Bank and eludes Pureheart. Even so, Pureheart seizes the loot and returns it to the bank, but Jersey Bounce points out that Pureheart had no proof that the money was stolen. A chastened Pureheart writes a check for three million dollars and 24 cents, but the check bounces. It turns out that Archie is daydreaming in line at the bank.
