This is an anthology comic featuring "Adventures of Patches and Tubby," in which Patches and her companion Tubby participate in their school's annual Bothrio Leptera Day celebration with a scavenger hunt for a rare banana split prize, encountering a motzorilla creature along the way. The issue also includes "Youthbuilders, Inc.," describing a Brooklyn junior high school club that has expanded to multiple cities and engages in community service and problem-solving, and "Tomorrow's World," an educational feature explaining the practical applications of electronics, including cathode-ray tubes, television, radar, fluorescent lamps, and X-rays in modern life.
