This issue features Danny Kaye in "Patches," an anthology comic including a story about the kid from Brooklyn getting into mischief. One story follows two characters who discover a buried treasure map and follow its directions to Cobblers Creek in their neighborhood, ultimately locating treasure near the area. Another story, "Short Order Success," depicts a baker who feels like an overgrown raisin while kneading dough, only to discover a book titled "100 Easy Steps to Success" that transforms his fortunes—initially bringing him three hot dogs to sell, but the story ends with him holding the success book as his luck appears to change.
