Daniel Acuña's cover work gives the scene a smoldering, sepia-tinged intensity that makes the hero's defiance feel genuinely earned. With Judd Winick writing and Matthew Clark on interior art, this January 2006 issue promises the kind of high-stakes team drama the series does best.
