The issue contains two Western stories. "The Lone Wolf" follows a gunfighter who encounters Tobin on the trail; after a tense confrontation, the two agree to a shootout to settle their rivalry, though Tobin ultimately refuses to draw, ending their feud peacefully. In the second story, Sheriff Pete Lewis pursues an outlaw named Harwood across the desert toward Mexico, eventually catching him near the border with the help of vultures spotting the fugitive's location. A third tale features characters Clayton and Gardner attempting a bank robbery; after Gardner's gun fails, Brute Barlow takes the stolen money and dynamites the vault, leaving town while Clayton and Gardner are left to face the consequences.
