Outcast by Kirkman & Azaceta #38

The title says it all — issue #38 is aptly subtitled "Surrounded." The cover by Paul Azaceta, colored by Elizabeth Breitweiser, frames two figures — a grim-faced man and a frightened young woman — pressed against a window from inside, while a crowd of shadowy figures with glowing red eyes closes in around them from the darkness outside. Kirkman and Azaceta's supernatural horror series has rarely felt this claustrophobic, and this 2019 Image/Skybound entry looks like a gripping chapter in the ongoing battle against whatever malevolent force haunts these pages.
