Robert Kirkman and Paul Azaceta's supernatural series continues in this 2019 Delcourt edition, subtitled L'Emprise des Ténèbres — "The Grip of Darkness." Paul Azaceta's cover is quietly unsettling, presenting a triptych of panels: a central figure raising a defensive hand, flanked by a pale woman and surrounded by shadowy, red-eyed figures lurking in the background. It's a striking image that captures the series' brooding tension between ordinary people and something deeply, disturbingly other.
