Part of Dark Horse's Comics' Greatest World initiative, this 1994 issue of Out of the Vortex spotlights Golden City's Grace in a cover by Jason Pearson that crackles with energy — literally. Grace, clad in red, squares off against a looming, angular black-armored figure amid arcs of electricity and blinding light, while a third figure lurks tensely in the lower corner. It's a striking composition that captures the series' blend of superhero action and science-fiction menace, with interior story "Deep Six Death" promising that the tension visible on that cover runs all the way through.
