Storm, Johnny Cloud, Gunner, and Sarge — crouch under fire in this tense 1970 DC war cover, a squad of armed enemy soldiers looming over them from above while one of their team defiantly declares, "We've beaten them… we're not born to lose anymore!" Joe Kubert both penciled and inked the cover, and that mastery of gritty wartime atmosphere is evident in every shadow and determined face. Inside, the team tackles "Losers Take All!" — and if the cover is any indication, they're going down swinging rather than going down easy.
