The urgency of speech balloons crying "Flares… they got us spotted!" and "Rock… we're trapped!" captures that razor-edge tension DC's war comics did so well. Inside, writer Bob Kanigher and artist Russ Heath bring "The Elite" to life, making this a fine example of the creative firepower behind Our Army at War in its prime.
