The split-composition cover of Occupy Avengers #2 is a genuine visual treat — Carlos Pacheco and Rafael Fonteriz divide the scene between surface and underwater, with a bow-wielding Hawkeye being engulfed by a massive, roaring water elemental above while a second figure sinks into the teal depths below. The waterline bisecting the image gives the whole thing a breathless, two-worlds tension that writer David F. Walker's "Take Back Justice" banner promise makes all the more compelling. A sharp second issue from a series with a refreshingly grounded, street-level Avengers sensibility.
