Nova — The Human Rocket collides mid-air with a very special guest in this September 1999 issue, as the cover by Erik Larsen (pencils) and Tim Townsend (inks) puts Spider-Man front and center, web-lines tangled around both heroes while a glowing, fist-raised Nova shouts "G'head, rub it in!" The cover even teases Spidey as "the soon-to-be Hollywood Hero," a fun 1999 snapshot of the web-slinger's rising pop-culture profile. With Larsen, Coy Turnbull, and Al Milgrom handling the interiors, this hero-vs-hero dust-up in the sky promises exactly the kind of kinetic Marvel team-up that fans of both characters will enjoy.
