Nova #3
Part of Marvel's 2007 Initiative era, Nova #3 finds Richard Rider crouching in combat-ready tension, gold-and-black Nova Corps armor crackling with electricity, as an armored, medieval-looking figure looms imposingly at his back. Adi Granov's cover renders both characters with cinematic precision against a stormy cosmic backdrop, the contrast between Nova's sleek tech and the other figure's battered plate armor hinting at a collision of very different worlds. Written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning with interior art by Sean Chen and Scott Hanna, this is "Home Truths" — and the cover alone suggests Nova's return to Earth is anything but a warm welcome.
