Nova #21
Nova sits slumped and alone in a darkened chair, his gold-and-black armor catching a faint light at his chest while the iconic red-star helmet stares blankly outward — it's a quietly haunting image that speaks volumes about the weight this cosmic hero carries. Adi Granov's painted cover work gives the whole thing a moody, almost meditative atmosphere that sets an intriguing tone for "Brave New World." Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, along with artists Wellinton Alves and Scott Hanna, continue to make this 2009 series one of Marvel's most compelling cosmic adventures.
