Nocturne #3

Part of Marvel's 1995 "Night Prey" line, this third issue of Nocturne drops its purple-clad hero to their knees, overwhelmed and cornered against a crumbling brick wall. Three menacing figures close in — a green-costumed woman leveling a gun, a masked brawler wielding a sword, and a powerfully built shaven-headed man clutching what appears to be a small creature — all rendered with kinetic urgency in Rafael Fonteriz's cover pencils. Subtitled "Ghosts from the Past!", the issue promises the kind of relentless pressure that makes a hero's situation feel genuinely dire.
