This 2002 Image Comics issue brings together a striking lineup of characters across its wanted-poster-style cover — Venture, Fused, The Fury, Superpatriot, Frost, Savage Dragon, Citizen Pain, Shadowhawk, Superstar, Invincible, and more arranged in a grid of portraits, while two figures in the foreground appear caught in a tense, dramatic moment against a backdrop of newspaper clippings. The cover art by Mike Avon Oeming gives the whole thing a gritty, lived-in atmosphere that feels right at home in Image's superhero universe. Jay Faerber continues "Family Secrets, Part Three" with interior art by Ian Richardson, promising plenty of intrigue behind that evocative cover.
