Nightwing finds himself literally ensnared in swirling crimson fabric on Greg Land and Karl Story's striking cover, as a mysterious red-hooded woman holds him close with an unsettling, seductive confidence — bats scattering into the moonlit sky above them. The tagline "The Spider to the Fly..." says it all: Dick Grayson may be the acrobat, but someone else is pulling the strings this November 2000. Chuck Dixon scripts the second chapter of "The Sylph" saga, with Land's pencils and José Marzán Jr.'s inks bringing a tense, atmospheric charge to Bludhaven's rooftops.
