Nightwing #37
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart three of "Escape to Blackgate" arrives in November 1999, and Scott McDaniel and Karl Story's cover sets the tone perfectly: Nightwing, clad in his sleek blue-and-black suit, is suspended mid-air and bound by heavy chains, barbed wire stretching across the top of the image against a sickly green sky. The rubble and debris below and the hazard-stripe "No Man's Land" banner down the left side paint a vivid picture of a hero in desperate straits. Chuck Dixon's ongoing story promises plenty of tension as Gotham's guardian struggles against whatever has left him dangling in those chains.
