Nightwatch tears across the cover of this June 1994 Marvel issue, his sleek black-and-white armored suit front and center as he clashes dramatically with a hulking red mechanized figure — the Mechamorph, teased right on the cover tagline "When Strikes the Mechamorph!" The dynamic composition by penciler Ron Lim and inker Al Milgrom puts both combatants in a whirling, high-speed collision that feels genuinely kinetic, with a cemetery backdrop lending the scene an eerie edge. Writer Terry Kavanagh and artist Ron Lim were building this solo series with real momentum, and this issue looks like a highlight of that early run.
