The Punisher crashes into the Nightstalkers' world in this 1993 team-up, and Ron Garney and Tom Palmer's cover makes the collision feel absolutely visceral — Frank Castle dominates the top half, skull chest-symbol blazing, gun blazing, shell casings flying, while the vampire-hunting trio of Blade, Hannibal King, and Drake battle through a chaotic melee of fanged attackers below. D. G. Chichester's story, titled "Comes a Pale Rider," promises the kind of pulpy, hard-edged supernatural action that made Marvel's early-'90s horror line so compelling. If you enjoy your street-level vigilantes mixing it up with creatures of the night, this one's hard to pass up.
