Four young mutants — three bearing the X-Men's distinctive black-and-gold uniforms — find themselves entangled in a web of massive mechanical or organic limbs on Kris Anka's striking cover for this 2012 Marvel series. One figure radiates an eerie yellow glow, another conjures a burst of flame, and a third struggles against the enclosing mass while a fourth watches guardedly from the shadows. Written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning with interior art by Leandro Fernández and colors by Val Staples, "Contami-Nation" looks to put the New Mutants through a genuinely harrowing ordeal.
